O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes e o Prefeito Marcelo Crivella se reuniram no bairro de Madureira num encontro com líderes e empreendedores para buscar melhorias para a região. O encontro rendeu grandes notícias para os comerciantes, camelôs e moradores do bairro. Em toda a zona norte, está em andamento a implantação de novas barracas para os ambulantes, que terão um formato vertical, melhorando o trânsito dos pedestres nas calçadas e trazendo a possibilidade da utilização da barraca para anúncios, gerando assim uma nova fonte de renda.
Outra boa notícia é a criação de um estacionamento para os clientes do mercadão de Madureira que vai melhorar a mobilidade de quem vive no local.
