Balanço de um ano de mandato – Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes
O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes está completando um ano de mandato e foi o vereador que mais apresentou indicações legislativas em 2017. Ao todo são quase 700 indicações que somadas ao número de ofícios (1.003) e de emendas ao orçamento de 2018 (988) chegam a mais de 2,6 mil proposições legislativas.
Além dessas indicações, o parlamentar também promete lutar por algumas conquistas para a região em 2018, por isso está destinando 400 mil reais de emenda ao orçamento para a construção de uma Creche Municipal na Rua Pão de Açúcar, 100 mil reais para a reforma da Praça 8 de Maio e 500 mil reais para a Pavimentação e Construção da rede de Drenagem de diversos logradouros no bairro de Rocha Miranda.
Algumas conquistas também foram destaque este ano, como as obras de drenagem da Rua Américo Brasiliense, em Madureira, realizadas pela equipe da Conservação da prefeitura em atendimento aos ofícios nº 159/2017 e 160/2017. Nesta obra foi realizada a troca das galerias pluviais, das caixas de ralo e esgoto. Destaque também para as obras do entorno do Shopping Via Rio Pavuna que estavam paradas há um ano e voltaram a ser realizadas. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes falou sobre a importância dessa obra para a Pavuna e os bairros do entorno:
“Esta é uma obra muito importante porque vai gerar mais de 1.000 empregos diretos para a região. E isso, nesse momento de crise em que o país se encontra, é de extrema necessidade. Pressionamos o Prefeito Marcelo Crivella, ele se sensibilizou com a situação e a prefeitura entrou com toda força para concluir as obras no local”.
Também não faltou trabalho, dedicação e esforço na Câmara Municipal do Rio. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes termina o ano de 2017 como um dos vereadores mais assíduos em plenário, tendo ainda publicado 15 Projetos de Lei sobre temas importantes para a Cidade do Rio de Janeiro e que prometem mudar para melhor a vida das pessoas. Entre eles está o Destombamento Parcial do Cine Guaraci, que foi aprovado em duas discussões na Câmara Municipal e que beneficia o bairro de Rocha Miranda de uma forma geral abrindo caminho para a instalação de um empreendimento no local que possa gerar empregos e renda para a população.
Outros projetos de sua autoria versam sobre a proibição da venda de aparelho celular pelo comércio ambulante, a criação do Programa Adote uma Escola, que incentiva empresas a investirem na infraestrutura das escolas públicas municipais, a proibição da venda de sacos de cimento de 50kg, tão prejudiciais a saúde dos trabalhadores da construção civil, a criação do programa de Workshop Vocacional nas escolas, fazendo com que alunos aprendam sobre as mais diversas profissões, a isenção de pagamento de IPTU a imóveis atingidos por enchentes e a criação do Polo Gastronômico de Rocha Miranda.
O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes também é Vice-Presidente da Comissão de Abastecimento, Indústria, Comércio e Agricultura sendo relator de 41 Projetos de Lei e se estabeleceu como Presidente da Comissão Especial com a finalidade de desenvolver e discutir propostas para a simplificação do licenciamento empresarial na Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, comissão que trabalha em parceria com o Sebrae/RJ buscando soluções para melhorar as condições dos empresários no município.
Os moradores dos bairros da zona norte também ganharam este ano com a chegada de importantes projetos como o Rio Ar Livre, que fornece gratuitamente aulas de ginástica em Rocha Miranda, Colégio e Turiaçu, somando centenas de pessoas que praticam atividade física regularmente nesses projetos. Além destes, outros também contam com o apoio do Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes como o Esporte para crianças, no campo do Daniel, em Turiaçu e na Igreja de Santa Luzia, além das aulas de Zumba, na Paróquia Santa Teresa.
Este também foi o ano dos grandes eventos. Como o grande Desfile Cívico que reuniu milhares de alunos de diversas escolas da 5ª Coordenadoria de Educação no bairro de Rocha Miranda. Outro grande evento foi a Festa do Dia das Crianças, uma das maiores de toda a Zona Norte, que fez a alegria da criançada na Rua dos Topázios, em frente a Praça 8 de Maio, além da grande marcha pelo Dia da Bíblia com a presença de 22 igrejas passando por diversos bairros da região.

Também foi um ano de homenagens. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes homenageou a diretora da Escola Municipal Francisco Frias da Mesquita, Sandra Maria Coutinho dos Santos com a medalha Chiquinha Gonzaga, um reconhecimento às mulheres que se destacaram na sociedade. Entregou às mães de Rocha Miranda diversas moções de congratulação e louvor pelo dia das mães. Homenageou com o Conjunto de Medalhas de Mérito Pedro Ernesto três grandes personalidades, o Pastor da Assembleia de Deus Central de Rocha Miranda, Adilson Rangel, o Tenente Coronel do 9º Batalhão da Polícia Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Ivan do Espírito Santo Araújo e o Fisioterapeuta e palestrante internacional Dr. João Carlos Magalhães. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes também entregou uma moção de congratulação e louvor ao militar da marinha, Jalbert Azeredo Cardozo, pelo seu projeto “Socorrer na Escola” que ensina técnicas de salvamento para os alunos da rede municipal de ensino.
Para o Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes esse é apenas o começo de uma longa caminhada em busca de um futuro melhor para os moradores:
“Vou continuar trabalhando diariamente para os moradores da zona norte, sempre com o orgulho enorme de ter sido escolhido por eles como seu representante e sabendo do desafio diário que é esse trabalho. Infelizmente a prefeitura do Rio passa por uma grave crise, herdada da prefeitura anterior e obras que foram promessas de campanha do prefeito não foram cumpridas neste ano de 2017, como recuperação da Escola Pará e a reforma da Escola Luiz de Camões. Meu sonho é revitalizar toda a região, mas isso não foi possível porque tivemos sérios entraves financeiros que prejudicaram gravemente a situação dos serviços em nossa cidade e em nosso estado. Mas eu continuo trabalhando e lutando diariamente para que tenhamos mais infraestrutura, empregos e qualidade de vida. Neste ano foi dado o primeiro passo para que os bairros da nossa região se tornem lugares melhores para se viver”.
