Homenagem à diretora da Escola Pará, Rosa Maria Santos
Na noite de quinta-feira, dia 08 de março de 2018, no dia Internacional da Mulher, o Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes homenageou com a entrega da medalha Chiquinha Gonzaga, a professora, pedagoga e diretora da Escola Municipal Pará, em Rocha Miranda, Rosa Maria de Oliveira Santos, por seus longos anos de prestação de importantes serviços para a Zona Norte da cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
Desde os quatorze anos que ela vem desenvolvendo trabalhos sociais como o da casa Cantinho da Vovó, que foi fundada por sua mãe, Édina Oliveira Santos, em parceira com outra grande mulher, Sônia da Veiga e que é destinada ao amparo e cuidado de idosas.
Rosa ingressou na rede de ensino trabalhando na décima coordenadoria regional de educação e com seu trabalho e dedicação foi convidada para fazer parte da equipe gestora da Escola Municipal Pará, onde foi diretora adjunta e coordenadora pedagógica e há quatorze anos está como diretora.
“Todos nós sabemos da dificuldade que é ser professor no brasil, principalmente no estado do rio de janeiro, que vive com grave crise econômica e social, por isso, eu tenho muito orgulho em homenagear a professora e pedagoga, Rosa Maria de Oliveira Santos com a medalha Chiquinha Gonzaga que representa a força da mulher brasileira e carioca”, discursou o Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes.
