Balanço Segundo Ano de Mandato – Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes
O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes está completando dois anos de mandato e foi o vereador que mais apresentou indicações legislativas em 2018. Ao todo foram mais de 1.742 indicações que somadas ao número de ofícios (3.361) e de emendas ao orçamento (2.018) ultrapassam 7 mil proposições legislativas.
Além dessas indicações, o parlamentar também promete lutar por algumas conquistas para a região em 2019, por isso está destinando, no total dos dois anos de seu mandato como Vereador, 800 mil reais de emenda ao orçamento para a construção de uma Creche Municipal na Rua Pão de Açúcar, 200 mil reais para a reforma da Praça 8 de Maio e um milhão de reais para a pavimentação e rede de drenagem de diversas ruas no bairro de Rocha Miranda.
A tão esperada obra da Praça 8 de Maio, em Rocha Miranda, é uma das conquistas que está prestes a sair do papel. O projeto já está pronto e o orçamento separado e ambos foram apresentados ao Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes no dia 1º de outubro deste ano. A realização é um atendimento da prefeitura às duas emendas orçamentárias do Vereador, a emenda orçamentária nº 2660/2017 e a emenda orçamentária nº 3336/2018.
Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes e Presidente da Rio Urbe, Fábio Lessa apresentam o projeto de Reforma da Praça 8 de Maio, em Rocha Miranda.
Outras conquistas dos moradores da região também foram destaques neste ano, como a reforma do campo de Turiaçu. Esse também é um atendimento de uma das emendas orçamentárias indicativas (Emenda Orçamentária nº 3179/2018) do Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes. Localizado na Rua Ibiá, em Turiaçu, a reforma do campo era uma demanda antiga dos moradores da região que agora poderão contar com uma área de lazer novinha. Foi realizada a troca do alambrado, o nivelamento do campo, a drenagem parcial e melhoria na iluminação.
O ano de 2018 também foi um período importante para debater mais uma vez o problema das enchentes no Rio Acari. Como membro da Comissão Especial do Rio Acari, o Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes se reuniu com o Presidente da Rio Águas, Claudio Barcelos Dutra e com o Vereador Val Ceasa, outro membro da Comissão para debaterem juntos uma proposta para o rio. Na ocasião foi apresentado ao Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes um projeto que será executado para minimizar as enchentes no percurso do Rio. Serão construídos reservatórios ao longo da bacia para reduzir o impacto das águas. A obra deverá custar cerca de R$ 300 milhões e receberá apoio do Ministério das Cidades.

A tão sonhada obra do anfiteatro da Escola Municipal Pará, em Rocha Miranda também teve início no ano de 2018. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes esteve visitando a escola e acompanhando os trabalhos do Diretor de Obras da RioUrbe, Júlio Saide e do diretor da empresa responsável pela execução do projeto, Jasiel Santos. O novo anfiteatro irá proporcionar mais cultura para o bairro de Rocha Miranda e terá capacidade para 221 pessoas, além de contar com climatização e elevador.

Este também foi um ano importante para dar continuidade ao projeto de resgate da história do bairro de Rocha Miranda. Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, o Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes foi o responsável por trazer de volta o Desfile Cívico do bairro, em comemoração ao Dia da Independência do Brasil, fato que não ocorria há muito tempo. No dia 14 de setembro, o bairro de Rocha Miranda recebeu mais um Desfile Cívico, com a participação de 3 mil pessoas, entre alunos de escolas públicas e particulares, pais, responsáveis e professores numa bonita festa de resgate da alto estima dos moradores e das suas tradições. O evento contou com a participação da 5ª Coordenadoria Regional de Educação, da Polícia Militar, da Guarda Municipal e da Banda da GM.

A preocupação do Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes com a crise na saúde pública também é motivo de destaque. Foram diversas reuniões com a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do Rio buscando aumentar o número de médicos e profissionais para o atendimento da população, principalmente no CMS Carmela Dutra. A fiscalização foi rigorosa em cima da Organização Social Viva Rio com requerimentos de informação sobre a folha de pontos, receita e despesas.
Outro destaque do ano foi a transformação de um local abandonado em Honório Gurgel em um parque infantil de convívio familiar. A construção da Praça na Rua Cônego Boucher Pinto, na esquina com a Rua das Safiras ganhou brinquedos e grama sintética. O trabalho foi desenvolvido pela COMLURB em atendimento a uma solicitação do Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes para o local.
Também não faltou trabalho, dedicação e esforço na Câmara Municipal do Rio. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes termina o ano de 2018 como um dos vereadores mais assíduos em plenário, tendo ainda publicado 22 Projetos de Lei, nos últimos dois anos, sobre temas importantes para a Cidade do Rio de Janeiro e que prometem mudar para melhor a vida das pessoas. Entre eles está a Proibição de Venda de Aparelhos Celulares pelo Comércio Ambulante, que foi aprovado em duas discussões na Câmara Municipal e que beneficia toda a cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
“Essa é a primeira vitória e muito importante para diminuirmos a quantidade de roubos e furtos de aparelhos celulares em nossa cidade. Chega de violência para as famílias cariocas que perderam seus familiares por consequências desses pequenos furtos”, destacou o Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes após a aprovação do projeto.

Outros projetos de sua autoria versam sobre a aplicação de multas e sanções para os praticantes de atos de vandalismo, a criação do Programa Adote uma Escola, que incentiva empresas a investirem na infraestrutura das escolas públicas municipais, a criação do Programa Adote um Campo, que incentiva empresas a investirem em campos de futebol amador, a criação do programa de Workshop Vocacional nas escolas, fazendo com que alunos aprendam sobre as mais diversas profissões, a obrigação da utilização de Luvas e Toucas Higiênicas Por Pessoas que Manipulem Alimentos, além da Carta de Serviços ao Usuário, que propõe melhorar e desburocratizar o sistema público com a desobrigação de autenticação de documentos em cartórios.
O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes também é Presidente da Comissão de Abastecimento, Indústria, Comércio e Agricultura e neste ano foi relator de 21 Projetos de Lei que ajudaram a fomentar o comércio e os empregos em toda a cidade.
O ano também foi de importantes homenagens. O Vereador Jair da Mendes Gomes homenageou a Diretora da Escola Pará, Rosa Maria Santos, com a medalha Chiquinha Gonzaga, um reconhecimento às mulheres que se destacaram na sociedade. Homenageou com o Conjunto de Medalhas de Mérito Pedro Ernesto a Capelã do Hospital Carlos Chagas, Maria Cristina de Oliveira e o Colégio e Escola Técnica Triângulo.
